Just finished the 1st of 12 Master Food Preserver classes today! Learning so much about Food Safety while the wild Peacocks screech outside the classroom. Assorted bird feathers drifted into the lecture room during short mild gusts of welcome wind.


Next week we will be working with apple slices.  We will all be required to wear an apron. Since I call myself the “Egg Lady” or the “Chicken Lady” I am getting my favorite chicken painted apron ready. My mother-in-law is an expert painter & she made me this gorgeous apron as a gift for me one year. I love it. I love her too. Oh she is a mother-in-law to die for. I pity you other in-law poor people.
